About me

I have worked in the NHS and higher education for more than 35 years. I am an Emeritus Professor at the University of Nottingham and am widely recognised as having pioneered a research culture in stroke rehabilitation and occupational therapy. I am an Emeritus National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Senior Investigator and currently lead on national and international stroke research initiatives.
